WWE Smackdown 5/18 Review
The wrestling scene seems to grow into more of the disorganized mess that it’s been for the last few years. WWE seems to be getting their PPV game up to par again, but their weekly television shows continue to suffer. After WrestleMania, it seemed we had a nice injection of intrigue and fascinating storylines, but instead, it all dwindled into the typical fare we would get any other week, with the occasional shining moments. That’s … Read entire article »

ROH Border Wars Review
I haven’t been as up-to-date with Ring of Honor as I would like to be. There is a lot of wrestling on every week (WWE, TNA, ROH, NWA), and keeping up with it all, all the time, is something I love, but isn’t possible sometimes. What I do know about tonight’s card is that Kevin Steen will finally get his shot at the gold when he goes up against the Jiu-Jitsu Jackoff aka Mr. No … Read entire article »

Between The Ropes Interviews Daniel Bryan
Brian Fritz of betweentheropes.com interviewed the number one contender to the WWE Championship, Daniel Bryan. American Dragon talks about how the “yes!” chant came about, his upcoming match with Punk, and he also speaks on Brock Lesnar coming back to the WWE. Bryan mentions how he would love to have a match with Brock Lesnar. I, most definitely, think that would be one hell of a brutal bout, and hope it goes down one … Read entire article »

WWE NXT 5/16 Review
Normally, NXT provides the only time in the week where I can 100% enjoy a wrestling show, regardless of the talent on it. It’s not that it won’t do the same for me today, but this episode is a particularly sad episode, as it may be the last of NXT as we know it. Born from what is probably the worst season of NXT that’s been produced was this quality show that arrived out of … Read entire article »

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/14 Review
For most, Mondays mean a return to the work/school week. There is a saying that goes “you got a case of the Mondays”, which is told to somebody when they aren’t too pumped up or excited that the weekend is over. But for us (wrestling fans), Mondays are awesome, because the biggest weekly wrestling TV show is on. The show that debuted almost 20 years ago will provide us (hopefully) with great action and intriguing … Read entire article »

The New ROH World Champions Speaks
Kevin Steen defeated Davey Richards this past Saturday to become the 16th World Champion in Ring of Honor history. He did it his way, and I think that is just one of the many reasons why Steen has so many fans all over the world. … Read entire article »

WWE Superstars 5/10 Review
Superstars is now probably the show I least look forward to, but it’s something I can usually depend on to have at least one decent match that will make the time less painful. Since WrestleMania, though, things seem to improve with better matches, more appearances from my under-card favorites, and toning down the replays enough that the matches aren’t forced into a bite-sized format. Whether they continue the trend or not is something I’ll find … Read entire article »
WWE Smackdown 5/11 Review
Alright, we have played this game before. I take my time to tell all of you that Smackdown actually produced a quality TV show that’s as eye-catching as a fire, and hope seems to be high for the episodes that are to follow in the weeks after. Instead of that hope being fulfilled, even being hinted at, the following episode immediately and drastically drops in worth, cancelling out any hope of a smile being on … Read entire article »
